Tim and Edra Blixseth are the visionaries at the heart of Yellowstone Club and Yellowstone Club World. They began accumulating land in Southwest Montana throughout the 1990's. Originally the property was intended to be used as a family retreat. However, through the urging of friends who had visited the property with stunning views and vistas, the Blixseth's decided to create Yellowstone Club.
Founded in 2000, Yellowstone Club is located in Big Sky, Montana and covers over 13,400 acres of the great American outdoors. It features over 2,200 skiable acres on two mountains with over 60 ski trails and 12 ski lifts; a Tom Weiskopf (former British Open & Senior Open Champion) designed 18-hole golf course; several restaurants; the Warren Miller Lodge; native timber cabins for YC member's guests as well as condominiums and private homes. Summer activities that may be enjoyed at YC include world-class golf, Bass fishing, biking, swimming, hiking, camping and horseback riding. In the Winter, members may enjoy skate skiing, Nordic skiing and snow-shoeing.
YCW is an extension of the renowned Yellowstone Club in Montana - the world’s only private ski and golf community, replicating the unique experience available at the Club destination in Montana to various additional locations worldwide.
